When occupied as a routine dwelling for humans, a house is called a home, which is the hearth around which the household gathers, similar to French foyer compared to maison.

40 days of purpose at calvary
This is the
spot to come for information about Calvary's participation in 40 Days
of Purpose. We'll be expanding and updating this each week with
powerful resources, calendar information, mailing lists and more.
What is 40 Days of Purpose?
Together with hundreds of other churches around the country, Calvary is
starting an intense six-week spiritual journey that will answer for each
of us the question, "What on earth am I here for?" Between Sunday February
15th and Sunday April 4th our church family and friends will focus on
God's five purposes for our lives, and we will seek to take steps of
growth in these essential areas.
Schedule of Events:
40 Days of Purpose at Calvary begins February 15th and concludes on
Sunday, April 4th, 2004.

(Evangelism"
Sermon:
Have you ever wondered, "When a person becomes a Christian, why
doesn't God just take them on to heaven?" The answer is that God has
an assignment for each of us; you were made for a mission. What is
that mission? You don't have to speculate. Just as Jesus was leaving
to go back to heaven, he left clear instructions for each of us. Come
next week and explore the only one of the five purposes we can't do in
heaven! Then check out all the ways our church reaches out to our
community and our world. Make it your personal challenge to find a
mission or outreach to try!
The probability of an event is often defined as a number between one and zero. In reality however there is virtually nothing that has a probability of 1 or 0. You could say that the sun will certainly rise in the morning, but what if an extremely unlikely event destroys the sun?
