Letter to Pastor: Dear Pastor: Thank you for prayerfully considering joining Calvary Baptist Church of Bay City, Texas, as our Pastor. We are looking for a Pastor who will continue to lead and guide our congregation in living out our mission of “To attract and win members, to develop them to Christ like maturity and to mobilize them for a meaningful ministry in the church and a life mission in the world, in order to magnify God.” We seek a pastor with the following qualifications and qualities:   He can, relate to and be approachable to every generation.   He is God fearing, puts the Lord first and is excited about God.   He is trustworthy with the ability to keep confidences.   He reaches out to the un-churched.   He has some years of experience as a pastor.   He seeks to live according to the qualifications listed in 1Timothy and Titus.   He holds to basic Baptists beliefs as outlined in the Baptist Faith and Message;   He is ordained by the Baptist Church .   He is married, friendly, and outgoing.   He has strong knowledge of the Bible.   He desires to stay engaged with each of the church ministries.   He has the ability to set social boundaries to protect himself from being overwhelmed in areas of his time, his health, and his physical and emotional needs.   If you believe you meet these qualifications and qualities, please complete the attached online application.
